Grapewagon Custom Crush / Wines By James MacPhail is a small, family-owned, state of the art winery located just 2 miles outside the town of Healdsburg, CA. Our clients are a few of the top ultra-premium and premium producers in CA (The Calling, Sangiacomo Family Wines, Tongue Dancer Wines, Calafia, Palmeri...to name a few). Among our in-house wine brands, over 20 different varietals have been hand-crafted (in the true sense of the word) during harvest. Quality is paramount.
We are seeking an ideal candidate to join us from September 1st through November 1st, exact start and end date TBD by Mother Nature. This is a unique and rare opportunity for anyone wanting to learn the intricacies of ultra-premium winemaking, as you will work right along side each winemaker. Because we are small and 100% hands-on, this position will be intimately involved with every aspect of production, all the way through completion of Harvest 2025. Applicants must have previous winery / harvest experience, have a strong work ethic, are excited to learn and want to be directly responsible for helping to produce some of California's best wines. Candidate must be reliable, meticulous (with a keen attention to detail), and have a positive and upbeat attitude. Because most of all, we love what we do, and have fun doing it! Candidate will work well within a small 4-person team, and must be willing to jump in and work flexible harvest hours such as early mornings, evenings and weekends.
